Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data?

FourPoint is currently an independent project operated by an individual and is not currently registered as a company. The current operator/contact information is provided in our Legal Notice. Contact: abdimajid.ahmed4li@gmail.com.

2. What we collect on the waitlist

• Email address. This is the only directly identifying information required to join the waitlist.
• Language choice. English or French is stored so we can send the appropriate welcome communication.
• Waitlist and referral records. We generate a Member # and referral code, and store referral relationships and referral counts needed to operate the queue.
• Operational email status. We may store whether a welcome or other email was accepted/sent and the associated provider message identifier or event status.
• Dates. We store signup and relevant email/referral timestamps.

We do not intentionally collect precise location, name, phone number, advertising identifiers, or IP address in the waitlist database. Your hosting provider, browser, CDN or security infrastructure may maintain ordinary technical logs such as IP address or user-agent under its own operational policies; those logs are not fields that the FourPoint waitlist application writes into its Supabase waitlist table.

3. Why we use your email

• To place you on the FourPoint early-access waitlist.
• To tell you your queue position and Member #.
• To send launch, early-access and platform availability updates you have asked to receive by joining the list.
• To send your welcome email and provide your personal referral link.
• To process deletion, correction and other privacy requests.

We do not sell your waitlist email address and we do not use it for unrelated advertising purposes.

4. Legal bases in the EU/France

For the waitlist, the primary legal basis is your consent to receive the requested early-access communications. Consent should be informed, specific, freely given and withdrawable. Where a particular processing activity has a different legal basis, we will identify that basis in the relevant notice.

We do not use the waitlist data for solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Referral system

If you use a referral link, the referral code is associated with the signup that used it. A successful referral can advance the referring participant by 10 places, up to a maximum of 50 places. We use this information only to operate and protect the referral system. Suspected abuse can be flagged for human review.

6. Forms

Forms created in the private dashboard are designed to be anonymous. A form response receives a randomly generated username, and the current form system does not ask for or store the respondent's email address. Answers, response status and timestamps are stored so the form owner can review the results. If a form is published with different fields in a future version, the form's own notice should be updated before publication.

7. The separate preview application

The FourPoint preview/prototype is frontend-only for its demo workflows. It has no backend connection for its prototype interactions and uses browser local storage for demo preferences or state. The preview does not submit those demo interactions to the FourPoint waitlist database. Some prototype screens can request browser location only when a user explicitly activates a location feature; the current preview does not send that demo location to the waitlist backend.

8. Service providers

The current waitlist backend uses:

• Supabase for the database and storage used by the private dashboard/email assets.
• Brevo for contact synchronization and transactional email delivery.
• Your configured hosting provider for serving the application and its normal infrastructure logs.

We do not use Resend for the current waitlist implementation. If a provider changes, this policy will be updated before the new processing is introduced where required.

9. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where EU/EEA personal data is transferred internationally, the applicable provider safeguards and lawful transfer mechanism will be used where required, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards.

10. Retention and deletion

We keep your waitlist record only for as long as it is needed to operate the early-access program and related communications, unless a longer period is required by law. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us. We will remove the email and associated waitlist/referral record from the active waitlist database, subject to any data that must be retained by law or for legitimate security/accounting purposes.

To request deletion, use our dedicated request page. You can optionally tell us why you are leaving so we can improve FourPoint, but a reason is not required.

11. Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and receive a copy of certain personal data. EU/EEA users can also complain to their competent supervisory authority; in France this is the CNIL.

California and other U.S. state privacy laws may provide additional rights where their thresholds and applicability requirements are met, including rights to know/access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing. FourPoint does not currently sell waitlist data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

12. Children

The waitlist is intended for people who are legally able to consent to the processing described here. We do not knowingly seek to collect children's personal information. If you believe a child has provided an email address, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

13. Changes

We may update this policy when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page will change when a material revision is published.
